Warehouse is a co-working space dedicated to freelancers or start-up companies. The Warehouse wanted to offer the co-worker an easy way to access to the space.
A series of interviews have been conducted to understand the user mental model and the pain points of the current experience.
It has been asked to both customers and stakeholders, to describe their daily experience at the co-working space.
Problem
From the user interviews has been identified that the co-workers needed a way to book desks and meeting rooms without the needs to call or visit the front desk.
Solution
A mobile app has been designed to allow the users to scan QR codes placed in the co-working space but also see the availability of the areas and manage bookings.
The customers have very welcomed the new process. It also had benefits for the business by increasing the number of bookings.

QR key
The co-workers at Warehouse can use the app to access to the space. A QR code is generated by swiping the key icon in the app. The QR can be scanned from the screen of the device at the entrance of the coworking space to gain access to the building. The device vibrates giving the user sensorial feedback.
1. Choose the area
By swiping the user can choose the different desk and room options available in the coworking space. Visual gives a clear image product the coworker is booking.
2. Choose the day
Once the desk type has been selected the user can choose how many days and from when the desk will be booked. The system gives immediate feedback about the cost.
3. Book it
Once the process is completed the user receives an overview of the booking. It is possible to book additional spaces from this screen.

To keep track and extend the booking of the desk, the app offers a personal agenda.
